Rhonda F. Burns, City Clerk, attends all City Council Meetings, and records the Official Minutes of these Meetings. The Clerk's Office is also responsible for collection of all City Revenue - taxes, business license, permits, water bills, court fines, and all other City Revenue. Email the City Clerk

The clerk also serves as Court Clerk at the monthly Municipal Court Sessions. every month at 2:00 P.M., at 379 Depot Street, Riverside,
Alabama.

Ken Gedgoudas, Building inspector

BUILDING INSPECTOR
Ken Gedgoudas, the building inspector, is responsible for the enforcement of the Building Code and other City Ordinances which include the sign ordinance and various nuisance ordinances. The inspectors office also works closely with the Planning and Zoning Board to help them enforce Zoning Ordinances. The City requires permits for the construction and/or remodeling of any residential or commercial structure when the costs of labor and material exceeds $1,000. So check with the Building Inspection Department before beginning your project.
